Philippine starb am 29 Jul 1905 in Fredericksburg, Texas.

Auch ihr Ehemann Ludwig Jung (* 28 Jul 1828) stammte aus Nassau. Die beiden heirateten am 03 Apr 1853 in Fredericksburg. Ludwig starb am 28 Feb 1908, ebenfalls in Fredericksburg.

Das Paar hatte 7 Kinder: Franz Louis (10 Apr 1854 - 1 Feb 1864), Jacob Heinrich (02 Feb 1857 - 26 Mär 1940), Helene Caroline (* 6 Feb 1860), Alwine (* 15 Apr 1861), Caroline Leonore Marie (* 27 Mär 1867), Joseph Louis (27 Sep 1867 - 20 Jun 1948) und Louise (29 Jul 1870 - 3 Feb 1951). Einige Zweige der Familie existieren noch heute in USA.
